How to Move Forward

How do you make decisions?

Do you weigh the pros and cons endlessly only then to feel more confused? Or are you the more decisive type who makes quick decisions and lets the pieces fall where they may?

Whichever side you lean on says a lot about you as a person in that how we do one thing is how we do most, and it's essential that you know these things about yourself.

Successes and failures leave clues.

Analyzing how you succeeded at something the first time so you can repeat it or knowing what went wrong so that you know not to do it again is also important.

Having time for self-reflection on what worked and what didn't is crucial to your success.

Let's say, for example, you've noticed that when you pre-plan your meals, you see you lose more weight than on the days where you wing it. You get to see first-hand and know what you need to do to continue making progress.

Where are you, and where do you want to be?

What do you imagine that you want your life to be?

Do you plan for it?

Do you spend time in how your life will be and how you will feel once you get what you want?

What is possible for your life has a lot to do with the thoughts you choose on the daily. Not once in a while, not once every couple of days, DAILY. Deciding and choosing over and over again.

Why do this? Because what you think creates your emotions, and those emotions fuel what you do.

What you do in the world has everything to do with how you feel about yourself. Choose your thoughts purposely.

What are the things you need to do to get where you want to be?

What are the obstacles that you need to overcome?

Whatever those obstacles are, reframe them as challenges you need to face.

Not only will they take you a step closer to achieving your goal, but those challenges, when met, will also make you stronger and more resilient.

Once overcome, those challenges become a source of inspiration and proof that you can do the hard stuff.

Emotions, especially negative ones, can be helpful.

They point to where you are and what needs your attention.

It's where your work is, and it doesn't mean anything has gone wrong.

Learning tools that help support you along your journey is crucial to your success.
